Frequently ask Questions

Q. When beginning to read a person's palm, what is the first thing the palmist does?
A. I take both hands of the subject and study them carefully for size, shape, color, texture, flexibility, moisture lines, signs and marking on both sides of both hands. Then I place both the left and the right palm flat on the table with fingers spread in a natural manner to look for the space for between fingers, and also the space between the index finger and the thumb.

Q. Are the lines the most important or only thing used when reading palms? What are the lines and what can they tell about a person?
A. Lines are important in palm reading. The shape of hands (7 types) and the development of the mounts (7 mounts) are equally important. The lines in relation to each type of hand have different emphasis on the overall interpretation in palm reading. Generally, (a) A FULL HAND contains a mesh of fine lines in addition to the major lines in the palm. Usually, artist or creative type is likely to have a full hand, and (b) AN EMPTY HAND is characterized by three major lines and a few fine lines. People with this type are steady and reliable and are suited to a life in the armed forces.

Q. How in-depth are the readings? For instance if a palm predicts a short life, how accurate can the palmist get?
A. Palm reading can be as in-depth as you would like. A detailed reading, for example, would go into a person's character analysis, childhood, family life, relationships, career, health, love life, money, travel, retirement and old age. If the palm indicates a short life, it must be confirmed by several markings and not merely based on one indication. The palmist will be able to predict the approximate year of death.

Q. What are some of the experiences you have had with clients? Do they often return for palm readings, saying many things have come true?
A. I have numerous interesting experiences with my client. In one case, I was analyzing one client's character. I told him that although he is well to do, he very miserly. He later told me that he had walked over 60 miles from a village in north west part of India to see me at Rajkot, the capital of Gujarat. He does not want to spend money for the bus fare. There were several cases in which promotions or changes in career, marriage or childbirth materialized as I had forecasted, the clients often come back for more details.
I was once offered a job by a Life Insurance Company to read 4 to 5 palms a day from the life insurance applicants to determine the length of life before insuring them.

Q. How can palmistry increase intuition and perception?
A. Palmistry cannot increase intuition. Rather it can help one to identify if one possesses the power of intuition, and if So, help him to develop this skill through practice, and daily meditation.

Q. How did you get interested/involved in palmistry?
A. My own interest in Palmistry started at my age of seven. I learned the ancient art of palmistry from my uncle who was a well known palmist in South India.

It must be said that although our hands foretell the future, that future is not fixed. It holds many different possibilities from which we are free to select. By exercising our free will we have the power to change the course of our lives. Young people should consider it a study worthy of learning before judging it as sorcery, witchcraft, and everything else contrary to the teaching of God. Palmistry has been practiced in far distant ages in India, China, Tibet, Persia, Egypt and Greece. It has been related to medicine in China from ancient times, based on the writers on palmistry who lived in late Ran Dynasty (206 B.C.E.)

My own experience while attending Stanford Graduate School of Business is relevant to illustrate the usefulness of palmistry in every day life. In sixties, the Stanford Business School Graduates were administered self assessment tests as part of a research study. These tests required answering over 500 questions that took several hours of a student's time. The answers to the questionnaires helped determine the student personality and attitudes, and the potential for a bright career. The study and the results were beneficial. However, I came up with the same results by reading the palms of some of those students.
